Hey there and welcome to 2023! I’m looking forward to getting WP Plugin Weekly going and sending all 52 issues this year. If there’s someone you know who would benefit from this newsletter, I would appreciate if you share it with them!

There were 87 new plugins in the repository last week. Read on for some more information about our favorite.

As always, you can check out the full list of plugins published last week and make sure to follow WP Plugin Weekly on Twitter, where I tweet out some honorable mentions that didn’t make the newsletter. And now let’s take a look at the plugin of the week!

SVG Heroicons Block

SVG Heroicons Block is a Gutenberg block for Heroicons, an open source set of SVG icons by the makers of Tailwind CSS.

If you’re looking to include icons on your site, this block is one of the easiest ways to do that. It lets you search all ~300 icons that Heroicons currently offers and allows you to select between the solid or outline version of the icon. Because it creates its own block, it can be nested or combined with other blocks to add icons almost anywhere on your site.

That’s all folks!

That’s it for this week. I’ll be back next Monday morning with a brand new plugin. If there’s a plugin launching that you think I should know about hit reply to this email or DM me on Twitter.

And if you have any feedback about how to make this newsletter more valuable, I’d love to hear it. Just hit reply and let me know. I read every single response I get.

Talk soon,

Keanan
